In-text reference

Kar (2011) on the 4 P’s of Marketing states “this is one of the preliminary knowledge every marketer must have and is considered to be the basics of every marketing theory, which emerged henceforth”.

Author = A. Kar.

Count the words in the 2nd sentence = 25 words i.e. a small quote.

Direct = use the name of the author in the sentence.
