Welcome to the Information Skills Toolbox of Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) Library.
The Information Skills Toolbox offers a variety of tools to teach students information literacy skills. Both lecturers and librarians can use these tools for their lectures and workshops/education, and/or students can use the toolbox independently. By studying this Information Skills Toolbox and taking a quiz an edubadge can be obtained. For more information about this, see the section about Edubadges.
The toolbox is based on Taxonomie Informatievaardigheid (Van der Meer, Post, 2020). Each step of the information literary process is described and contains tools, such as knowledge clips, that can be used in education / learning communities. All tools focus on developing information skills, including:

3. Assessing resources critically
4. Organising search processes
5. Publishing & communicating
