Bsc Tourism (BTO): Journals / Articles

Library guide for students of the combined Bachelor of Science Tourism NHTV and Wageningen University.

Metasearch

With Metasearch you can search simultaneously for (e-) books, theses, research reports, traineeship reports and articles

Please note that the Metasearch engine does NOT cover all databases; especially the Dutch databases are currently not indexed.

The search functionality of the original source will be better than Metasearch. With the indexing to Metasearch some search functionality gets lost. Metasearch however is a good starting point when you don't know where to start with your topic.

Please give us your feedback and if anything is not working properly, please contact us via mail  (preferably include a screenshot, this is helpful for us to analyse the problem)

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a specific part of Google that will search only in scientific hosts. When looking for a subject refine with the left menu of Scholar. Refining with recent years may be handy .

Use this link and you will get optimal access for articles the library has subscriptions to.

Searching for journal articles with databases

There are specific databases to look for journal article about  tourism, leisure and hospitality :

Looking for journals

When you want to find a journal on a specific topic and/or want to browse through several years of a specific journal check the Library's Journals list and the list of recommended tourism journals
